1 Fabric (Border Stripe) Quilt $50 April 26, 2025 from 10:00am - 3pm

Skill Level – Advanced Beginner to intermediate (must know how to quilt/bind)

Description:
1 border striped fabric is all it takes to make intricate (but easy) designs. Join Jackie for the day to see what possibilities come out of the fabric you choose. The amount of fabric will determine the size of the quilted project - table runner, wall hanging/throw, or bed quilt. Note: a 10% discount for attendees on border stripe fabrics in my shop.

Crazy Quilt with Hand Embroidery $50 April 19, 2025 from 10:00am - 3pm

Skill Level – Advanced Beginner to intermediate (must know how to quilt/bind)

Description:
In this class you’ll learn techniques on how to make the crazy block and then some traditional embroidery stitches. With your imagination, in time you'll have a one-of-a-kind heirloom quilt as each block will be uniquely yours. NOTE: Jackie will have embellishments (beads, buttons, ribbons etc.) for sale or bring your own.

Beginning Quilting $125, 6-week course, 3 hours each week from 12:30-3:30

Skill Level –Very Beginner and beyond

Description:
If you've wanted to start quilting (or learn how to do it the right way), then this is the class for you. This 6-week course walks you through the process from start to finish with a small wall hanging/baby quilt as the result. You'll learn about tools and how to use them properly, how to rotary cut, sew accurate seams, pressing, fabric choices and quilt terminology like blocks, sashing, borders, basting, binding. Additionally, you'll learn how to make units that are used in almost every pieced quilt like triangles, flying geese, so that everything fits together, and no tips are cut off. BTW you’ll know what all these terms mean by the end of this adventure.

You bought a panel so what do you do with it now? Let Jackie motivate you with some unique designs through a PowerPoint presentation and a small trunk show. She’ll inspire you with samples of working with the panel as a whole, cutting it up and using pieces to completely transform the panel.

This runner uses the "quilt-as -you-go" method. A quick and easy project that has all the quilting completed by the end of the project. Of course, if you are an avid quilter, there is always room for additional embellishing!
