This week marks the 1-year anniversary that I haven’t been able to physically sew (due to illnesses, surgery and extended family matters). But that hasn’t stopped my daily creativity! My motto this past year was: if you can’t create physically, create mentally (on a daily basis) until you can.
I've got knew quilt pattern designs swimming around in my head...BTW if you are not a quilter/sewer there are numerous other ways to create-paint, craft, garden, doodle etc.
Featured Maker
As a matter of fact, Nancy’s Notions,
a nationally known catalog for notions, sewing and crafting goods, has honored me as the “Featured Maker” for April. The official roll-out is April 6, 2021 on their website. Please check it out (I know I will!)
This week I’d like to introduce you to Martha G. of Norfolk, VA
She writes, “Here's what I used the fish fabric for...Masks! I made 2 styles and had my husband show you his. Made same for several other friends who are avid fly fishermen as well. Thanks for having the "perfect" fabric for the job.”
I really try to have the “perfect” fabric for my customers! You can find any number of fly fishing fabrics here. Of course, if you’ve got someone that does ocean fishing or hunting, I’ve got those fabrics too.
Quilty Quote of the day:
If you'd like to chime in on how you create, I'd love to hear from you.
Happy Quilting,
Jackie
